Welcome Aboard!

Fins and Grins specializes in small group charters and can accommodate groups up to 6.

The 36-foot Laserfish is ready to take groups up to 6 in complete comfort to the finest fishing on the Mississippi Gulf Coast! The Twin-Vee Catamaran with twin 250 Yamaha 4-strokes is outfitted for sport and relaxation. Its 300 square feet offers plenty of room to fish or just kick back and enjoy the ride! Laserfish features state-of-the-art electronics, the latest in safety equipment, restroom facilities and a killer sound system with iPod compatibility. Let us take you on an excursion away from the daily grind and straight to fun and relaxation!

Fins and Grins is the perfect charter for the fishing novice, too. Ladies, please join us as we view the historic sights and beautiful islands of the Mississippi Sound.

Barrier islands lie approximately 11 miles off the coast of Mississippi and are part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore. These beautiful, wild refuges are some of the last undeveloped barrier islands in the United States.

Be sure to watch for dolphins as we cruise to some of the best fishing spots the Gulf of Mexico has to offer. They frequently pace the boats as they head out to sea.

View historic structures such as the Biloxi Lighthouse when we do a cruise along the coastline. Capt. Bobby and crew are Coast natives and will happily share history and facts about the area, which was founded in 1699.

  1. Captain Bobby sure knows how to find the fish! The boat is perfect for any type of excursion and his deck hands are awesome! You won’t find a better charter out there. Can’t wait for my next trip!

  2. Captain Bobby showed us he can do it all. In March we caught huge Redfish in deepwater around the rigs. Then we caught a variety of small fish under the Ocean Springs bridge including eel and flounder. In between we just enjoyed conversation and scenery (porpoise pods along the National Seashore) with Captain Bobby and his crew. Treat yourself!

  3. I had the pleasure of fishing with Big Bobby and Little Bobby last Sunday. We were originally scheduled for Saturday and while everyone wanted to go fishing, started out and got out 5 miles and Bobby made a call to abandoned the trip by looking at the radar and black clouds and wall cloud ahead. An excellent call supported by all on board. Safety first, fishing second. We did get out Sunday to perfect weather and good fishing. We lost a few big fish, caught a couple dozen spanish mackeral, and had a lovely opportunity to cool off from the oppressive heat by a little shallow water swim. Assk Bobby about that if you see him, he’ll know what you are talking about. I would highly recommend Bobby, in fact, trying to get out again with him this weekend and as many times as possible until I leave the end of August. Thanks Bobby!!!

  4. What a great experience! We caught so many fish that we were exhausted! And, Bobby took care of EVERYTHING. We can’t wait to go back. Bobby provides a great fishing experience.

  5. Best birthday present ever. It was awesome. We went out 60 miles. Capt Bobby is one of the few that go out that far. We caught lots of Red Snapper, some 15-20 Lbs, unfortunately they were not in season. But we still had a nice haul of other fish in season. I want to thank my wife for the trip and Capt Bobby and Lance for a great time. Looking forward to the next time.

  6. For anyone thinking about taking a chartered fishing experience, FINS & GRINS IS YOUR ONLY CHOICE! Captain Bobby and his first mate will do everything within their power to make it the best fishing experience you’ve ever had. He and his wonderful wife Leonie, gave us the best birthday weekend ever! Captain Bobby took us out on a beautiful MS day on a great boat, out to fish the plentiful Gulf. The boat has plenty of room for many people, it rides nice on the water, they’re prepared with several bait options, the best equipment and plenty of tackle available.
Captain Bobby is a caring, educated professional, making sure we were catching fish but also being aware of any bad weather or any other obstacles to a perfect fishing experience. He took us straight to the best spots and we didn’t waste any time catching the BIG ones. We also enjoyed seeing a hammerhead shark, dolphins, a sea turtle and an unexpected scene with a 10′ baricuda. We caught the biggest fish of our lives with some 10-20 lb snapper and 40-50 lb king mackeral. The wonderful day ended with he and son Bobby Jr cleaning and filleting all those fish for our transport home.
Bobby, Bobby Jr. and Leonie, Thank you for ALL you did for us to make Chuck’s birthday the best ever. No other outfit could have done it as well and I know that from experience. We’ll see you soon with more folks to have fun!
